Electric airplane flies 200 miles in 2 hours

Advantages in sustainable green development are everywhere. Now is seems like the airplane industry is catching on as well. Pipistrel-USA’s Taurus G4 won the NASA’s CAFE Green Flight Challenge by flying 200 miles in under two hours, using an amount of electricity equivalent to less than two gallons of gas. Google sponsored the competition, which is supposed to stimulate the electric plane industry.

Toyota installs 4.1 MW solar farm in UK

Toyota is pressing ahead with its impressive solar farm that will power a manufacturing plant for its hybrid cars. As you can see below in the video, the 4.1 MW solar farm is just one initiative the company is using to achieve zero waste to landfill and zero waste to incineration for the manufacturing plant in Derbyshire.

While US ignores Climate Change both India & China set up carbon trading programs

While the United States is doing little to non about climate change and reducing carbon emissions, India and China are already implementing the first cap and trade systems for carbon emissions. Three Indian states already have a cap and trade program and a national program is being pushed by environment minister Jairam Ramesh.
